About the Tibetan Terrier
The Tibetan Terrier is not actually a terrier but was given the name by European travelers. These shaggy, medium-sized dogs were considered 'holy dogs' in Tibet and were never sold, only given as gifts. They are affectionate, sensitive, and loyal companions. Their large, flat snowshoe-like feet helped them navigate the snowy Tibetan terrain. They make wonderful family dogs.
