Chow Chow

The Chow Chow is an ancient breed with a distinctive lion-like mane, blue-black tongue, and teddy bear appearance. Originally bred in China for guarding, hunting, and herding, Chow Chows are proud, independent, and deeply loyal to their families. They are one-person dogs that can be aloof with strangers. Despite their fluffy appearance, they are serious, dignified dogs with a cat-like personality.
